>>499913274I replayed Bloodstained Curse of the Moon as my halloween game this year.It's such a good game. It captures everything I liked about CV1&3, without the jank. Despite being a short game there are a lot of branching routes only available with different characters or upgrades so there's a good amount of variety between the 3-character nightmare mode and the solo playthrough. The game is really generous with extra lives so I did those two playthroughs without much trouble, but I'm too rusty to do the solo playthrough with no upgrades.
I think I have to skip today VD night. Had to wake up at 3 AM because things and didn't get nearly enough sleep.

I read from a Disgaea thread that Disgaea 2 would have been delisted on the US PSN(?), I have no idea if that is true but since they were still available on EU side I had to make my move as soon as I could. I didn't want to think I would miss out on these even though I could have bought them years ago, back then I thought I wouldn't pay for stuff like this but ever since the 3DS eShop closing it got me thinking of wanting all the DLC for the games I really liked, and Disgaea 2 for PSP was exactly one of those games all those years ago.I'm so glad I bought them. I've once again had the epiphany about me absolutely loving the old Disgaea and wondering why I haven't actually completed or even done the proper post-game for any of them. Watching the intro for 2 makes me emotional these days, it's fuging crazy. It was truly the peak times of NIS back when PSP was relevant, it hurts to even try to acknowledge the fact that that time is long gone now. I wish I could like their new output but I just can't. I want the sprites back, I want all the wacky animations with said sprites back.At least I can say that with Vita TV, I have access to the best and most authentic versions of all the mainline games from 1 to 4. I can always just go back to the good old ones, but I just feel bad over not feeling that fire of hype I used to feel so fervently back then anymore.
