I think Gatlings are more interesting than the autocombo system. So the inclusion of the risk stuff makes defense feel even worse because a high risk CH can just straight up kill you because you choose to block the opponent

The most important defensive mechanic of all, and also the one that Strive (and modern games in general) gutted the hardest, is MOVEMENT.You can buff IB to the moon and the game will still feel like shit if all the characters move like their feet are encased in concrete.
