Because either you have to grind for shards (MD grinding takes the soul out of me), or gamble your way to getting proper IDs. And even then, you'd still have to grind in some capacity for resources to level them up & threadspin them. Which is fine, but it's still the same annoying shit you'd have to deal with in any RPG, except there are even more steps to it that suck.

Finally managed to beat Don (Real) using Liu Team since they're my favorites and also have no evade skill + Middle Don as back-upPurposely took out all healing EGOs from the team and also took the bleeding gift from the Confession event, as well as the -5SP from the Hemobar event.Still had to rely on Don's immortality after some point of the fight, but got through the hardest part with Liu without using other IDs as back-up, so that makes me proud enough of the team.

The only thing I hate about the unbreakable coins is how some of the attacks are handled. The fact that The Finale's bleed infliction is On Hit for all coins, instead of reserving some attacks for On Heads, is annoying as shit. Glad it's forcing me to use defense in some capacity, but it would be more balanced if it was the latter rather than the former. Especially when some are AOE attacks. Luckily it's not difficult to deal with, just annoying and feels like artificial difficulty.

I don't get people crying about difficulty in this game. I cleared all content as soon as it came out first try without much trouble. As for criticisms I do agree with the other anons saying that the side characters felt half-baked. I would have liked to get a bit more out of Dulcinea in particular. If it does end up being true that Paula somehow survived and shows up again later then I think that would be a good opportunity to give us some flashbacks or something to help bring Camille to life a bit more as well.
