I'm inclined to believe that it was from that war (which may not have necessarily ended) that the Head acquired entities which were tamed to then create the foundations of the City itself. A personal kingdom crafted to his ideals in rejection of whatever the stars/beings/gods/etc. outside offer. Demian and his blue man group all seem to be on the road to godhood or becoming stars themselves, but are likely interfereing with the City's affairs as part of a larger plan with what they believe humanity should live for and how they should live. Or at least, specific members of humanity anyway.

Is there any specific ID in Limbus that whenever you sit down to actually think about it, you get frustrated by how they handled it's design or any other aspect of it?It's Sloshing Ishmael for me. Even when Canto IV was first released it pissed me off. The enemy version has a seemingly fun looking gimmick to it. Using skills gives Moral Boost which ups damage by 10% per stack, a passive that turns it into Tipsy at 5 stacks, and a defense skill that removes Tipsy + heals. Tie the healing to having Tipsy if you're worried about spamming that heal. Her low coin counts wouldn't make Moral Boost too strong while still giving a damage boost. Self healing would be nice on a tank ID and make her a little unique even if 5% isn't too much. The recipe for an interesting if not all too powerful tank ID is right here. And then they gave us Sloshing Ishmael. A boring even for its time Tremor ID with an absurd spend 4 Tremor Count S3. When we got Uptie 4, I hoped they would slap Morale Boost and maybe Tipsy on it and call it a day. But instead they gave Rupture and that Clash Lose centric skillset which while admittedly unique, sucks because it gives the enemy Sanity. What the fuck were they thinking with this ID's design?
