LatelyI've reached the empahany that anger an hatred are the only real emotions people feel and everything else is a cope, At first I thought that Shadow x Sonic was a good game because of it's rep and reception but the only things I've found playing it were things that made me roll my eyes and grunt with frustration, the gens gameplay is not only dated and bad you can feel the clunkiness when moving Sonic and Classic Sonic, with Shadow he feels exactly like Sonic in frontiers with tacked on wisp like abilities and the chaos control is superficial at best, forced at worse, there are some stages where you flat out cannot get through an area unless you use chaos control like the giant bullet in the ark level or the trains in the rail canyon level, the story is generic as hell black doom is back and all he says is the same 3 lines "The promise time", "Come shadow", "I will absorb you shadow" or some shallow verity of those lines, Maria and Gerald add nothingjust to show that yes Gerald loved Shadow more than his own two sons he had sex to have or whatever wife he may have had, and Maria loves shadow not just as a brother but something more since she's an impressionable 12 year old with some fusion of aids and cancer. Shadow says he wants to make it so they live yet he never once even tries to think of a way to do that til the plot just says killing black doom kills them even through that makes no sense, they shouldn't be returning to their own points in time until Sonic defeats the time eater meaning they could have had enough time to beat black doom, Shadow have have a nice talk with them about what happens to them, what his life has been like so far and a resolution but nope, can't have something normal and not exciting, this is a video game, shadow has to hurry to do nothing but watch Sonic handle his business while crying.I really want this world to be destroyed, all of it, people were a mistake, happiness, hope, love, laughter, all of it is nothing but lies.
