If you actually get a high grade purple weapon. Invest in it. It'll be better for sure. But if you get anything less than that? No it won't be better.

Seeing shit from your own point of view while your party members do their bits is probably a large part of it. Arguably the relatively low amount of party member characterization helps too, it's similar to kancolle where characters have just enough to create a baseline for you to project your own interpretation on.

Beginning abyss goblin mobs giving me around 1K exp on my arena/lv35 party... how is level scaling working here... it's pretty stupid how these mobs get scaled up in stats a bit, and they give almost as much exp as much stronger mobs in the port town.
