This, a decent skill ceiling, and proper matchmaking and balance would be crucial to a FortFight that doesn't just end up like Rocket Racing. Perhaps working with a developer knowledgeable in the space would help, and if it's going to be someone like Bamco, tell them to put Kazuya in Fortnite. If we're getting shoes, it would be appropriate to have a real sneakerhead in the game.
