Trying to get back into World. My brain did a complete mindwipe after so much time and I find myself loading a 60hr save, seems to be around act 3 in Iceborne and I am just overwhelmed. I'm at brachydios but my damage feels very bad, looking at guides it seems like I was meant to be getting into HR50 before where I'm at but I'm only HR34. Gear guides suggest event items? I'm just lost. Should I just start a new save and march through all the world endgame before going to iceborne?

Quest slots that could have been filled by different monsters or subspecies are being filled by the same monsters but with a gimmick and they really aren't that much fun.
