I used 4x exp/gil because I just wanted to see where it all started and I don't imagine I would be able to finish it without the qol features. What went wrong with Final Fantasy?
OG VII was already kind of confusing at points. Why did they feel the need to make things like three times as convoluted? This shit makes VIII and Kingdom Hearts seem normal by comparison. Hell, they should have saved up this multiverse/time travel/destiny bullshit for VIII's remake. It makes way more sense there and, unlike Sephiroth, some extra scenes would have benefited Ultimecia a lot.
