The GW background has the most content, there are plenty of Warden characters to interact with, the Anderfels areas all have an appropriately bitter mood cast over them, you get proper tin can armor, and so on. For roleplaying reasons it's also a lot easier to enjoy the game as a Warden who just goes around whacking monsters than as a Lord of Fortune or Mourn Watcher who wanted to lean into Rivaini or Nevarran cultural stereotypes. The game is best enjoyed as an action RPG and Wardens best play to the game's strength.
My favorite part? The game unequivocally makes sure you know when bioware says a character or group is the bad guy. Because they are the stinkiest meaniest doody lickers around

I think Inquisition wasn't that bad of a game. It was boring and empty, it needed way more story content, combat wasn't good especially mage, all the armor looked terrible, crafting ruined the item system. But even with all that it's still playable and in my opinion had a few good parts.

Feels weird to say this, but the game is actually quite enjoyable so long as I don't have to actually talk to any of my teammates. It starts of strong with a very good character creation system. The combat took me a little time to warm up to but it's alright. Some of the maps may feel like DA2's corridor layouts, but then the locations are infinitely more gorgeous than Kirkwall and its surroundings ever were. The soundtrack is forgettable but at least it doesn't irritate me. The main story seems to be basically a continuation of Inquisition/Trespasser. Except instead of fighting Corypheus the story is about fighting Two Corypheuses.Cutting short any conversation with Harding, Neve, Varric, Taash, Bellara and Lucanis seems to be the way to appreciate Veilguard.

Warrior is the best class and seems to be what the combat system favors. Rogue is a close second although the janky parrying mechanic is a lot less forgiving with rogues. Mages are decent only if you focus on dagger and orb. Staff mages are fucked due to enemy aggression.
