Finally got rogue trader working. Enjoying it so far, although I preferred the combat in kingmaker. Moment to moment anyway, I'm guessing this game doesn't have the 30 step pre-fight buff stack procedures that game did. Also it introduced a lot of characters at once in the prologue and my autism doesn't allow me to go anywhere until I've spoken to all of them.

Anyone played the Midnight Isles DLC as a standalone? Will there be fix loot at some point? Or is it all random?And by random i mean its some kind of garbage algorythm they are using there. In one single chest, there are 3 heavy shields +1, then there are 4 (!) gnome hooked hammers in the next isle. Sure, i can't expect to find exactly the items i need for my characters (thats what the vendor is for after all), but a little bit more care and variety in loot would be nice i guess.But so far (2nd Isle-chain done, lvl 9) its actually a fun way to play pathfinder without having to manage a kingdom or crusade and companion nonsense.

Though this is stupid, as it's much more about colonialism in an archipelago with factions vying for influence, which naturally includes piracy. But I think calling it "pirate themed" isn't correct. Lots of pluses too though, but those things were big negatives for a lot of people. Also though, it has done quite well over time, despite the "gut feeling" many have about it flopping.
