One thing I've always liked about Sonic is that it never knows when to stop and always goes to places where nobody in their right mind would think a cartoon animal franchise should go. Exhibit A Shadow the Hedgehog. Exhibit B Archie Knuckles comic. Sonic's never been just one thing and that's what I liked about it.
