Interestingly enough, I don't think the Prototype was mentioned in any of the stuff relating to the theater incident the ARG is surrounding. We know it's a trouble maker in its own right and a saboteur, but it's not brought up.So far a lot of the speculation surrounding the problems have focused on the Prototype being the mastermind behind it all, but I think it would be compelling if by virtue of the fact that Playtime Co is run by evil assholes who don't care about human life if that translated into them not caring much about security and preventative measures and thus incidents unrelated to the Prototype keep happening as well. After all, regulations are written in blood.
