Honestly even peeling back all the excess circumstances and shit, this season is only halfway done and it's so fuckin boring. If you luck into lots of grapplers and shockwaves, hey you can just C5 around the areas, but there's so many empty hills it never really feels all that great since every town area is like a handful of scattered buildings and only a couple POIs feel "dense". If you grab a vehicle, most of the traversal is boring lines. And if you don't have a vehicle, it's dull hoofing it everywhere. People complain about most of C5 looking so samey and boring at the start, all the interesting parts of this map are at the edges, and the only "event" stuff are random supply drops, bosses, and llamas. There's no pizazz, it's all so fucking clinical, and potentially filled with ugly amounts of excessive downtime that only gets negated if you've got a good traversal supply.I think the weapons are fine, but is this really what C2S2 was like besides the rappers and disjointed loot pool? Because this makes Chapter 5's map design look interesting somehow despite having the classic artstyle and colors by comparison (sorta, not really the actual UE4 era colors on display here).

I'm try to comprehend how to consistently stick to surfaces when using Air Dodge (L1 on my config). Constantly having to just crash myself against ceilings to stick to them because it won't let me grab on otherwise. Do I need to Air Roll to keep the underside of my car to the surface I want to Air Dodge and cling to?
