I have not been enjoying this game for about 2 years now. It's weird because we've had far worse formats.I think it's just gotten too stale. For better or worse, MR updates mixed things up. Also, forcing and shilling archetypes to be meta is absolutely nothing new, but somehow it has gotten (seemingly) worse over the last couple years. In the past it (seems) like shilled archetypes occasionally received good support, these days it (seems) like Konami goes out of their way NOT to give anything good to archetypes that are not being shilled. I mean, it's all just money, always has been and will continue to be, but it has just gotten more blatant and transparent. Either way, I don't enjoy playing this game, occasionally I have a duel where it feels like I'm playing the best game ever invented, but it's so rare these days. Even Nekroz is a better normal summon engine than onomats. Onomat needs more searching of its backrow, more backrow so Sister isn't useless, reclaim its old flexibility in summoning more than just rank 4's so you can actually hard summon the Xyz ZW's, and maybe a retrain of Ray or Prime so its not just more xyz material. In its current state Utopile has a ton of searchers but an absolutely horrible monster line up. Really I just wanna scream NANBAZU SAN JU KYU KIBO OH HOOOOPU in a deck thats actually viable.
