What are you guys looking forward to in Frontiers?I think for me it’s finally moving away from all the Witness stuff in terms of story, they kinda fumbled his finale imo and i’m just ready to move on to about anything elseI do think Destiny will improve next year, we’re just stuck in this aftermath content that falls short of engaging. Frontiers seems like at least they have a different model for the story content, reducing it throughout seasons but we’ll see if it’s any better

I have a question for anyone who might know anything about game development. And this isn't just a complaint post, it's a genuine ask.How is it that a company as huge as Bungie, who is a multi-billion dollar company off of a single IP, who has ~1000 employees somehow seems to struggle with development their single game? The game is not as huge as they constantly claim. There are indie-games with deeper and longer content. Yet they haven't fixed bugs that have been in the games for years, balancing decisions seems to be left up to the same 10 people who haven't learned anything, and the majority of the content they release lately is mediocre at best.To claim it's sheer greed seems disingenuous. Yeah there's probably a lot of assholes like Pete who don't give a fuck about anything but the $, but in a company that big just by numbers there must be a fair amount who really care. Top down mismanagement could be an answer, but again with 1k employees there's got to be numerous QC people. Do they not actually have that many people working on the game? Are they instructing them to just release the same old shit? Do they spend 90% of their effort on Expacs (and still fuck half of them up somehow) and just not really give a fuck about the inbetween?

I’m pretty new to the game, trying to get into raids, but the few LFG experiences I’ve had were pretty lame. First was Root of Nightmares, couldn’t even get past the first checkpoint before the group disbanded. Tried Garden of Salvation and it was a mess of people telling me not to do anything and then struggling to get to damage phases, disbanded after the 3rd boss after 2.5 hours. Is there a decent Clan or group I can use to try and get familiar with raids? Or is it just not worth it?

I think I finally beat the loot treadmill. After I got Collective Obligation and Euphony around September it feels like I'm mostly done with anything worth grinding for. I have all the craftables I care about, good rolls of exotic class items, solid guns for just about any content I wish to run. All I still wanna do is finish necrochasm.It's both liberating and sad cause it means I effectively have 0 reason to play until the end of the episode to check the story.
