when Chapter 3 and/or 4 is available for purchase, will Toby still be selling merch for a demo? will it still count as a demo at that point, or more like a first paid orphaned segment, like SiN Episodes E1? usually paying for something after playing the shareware version gets you the whole game, not 2/7ths more of the game.

So I've had this on my mind for a while and I've wanted to say this because otherwise it feels like I'm just trapped holding this in the void but I do sincerely believe there will only be one ending to deltarune that will require going through three different routes of some kind and having three completed save slots. I'm thinking about how the game already can give you items from other save files but something like where you need every slot completed to like chapter 6 or 7 to unlock the ending. Call me schizophrenic but I do believe this is going to happen. If you need an example of how it would work think of how zero escape did things where you needed to reach different points in different timeline branches to be able to proceed in other timelines. The ending requiring knowledge from all the routes to truly complete the game. The routes only end in game overs.

>>502664570I think we just fundamentally understand this game differently—Spamton is funny and a damn trooper in his own right, but the little details like his brutal honesty through adspeak only shine through comparison to Kris, who can only really express themselves through little grimaces and sarcasm during usual gameplay and emotional breakdowns at most. I can understand not being able to vibe with a character who's effect(if you can even call it THAT) you can only see through text even when that's the point. I have no real response for Susie or Ralsei, though I can't imagine what makes you so ambivalent at best towards Lancer and positive towards Queen, cause in my view they have the same sort of obliviousness going on.
