What class on fresh would be the best fit for my friend, who pretty much only plays FPS and fighting games? I'm talking about someone with limited patience who needs an engaging, low-downtime, low-skill-curve dps class/spec. I'm thinking hunter or mage. The former is probably the strongest option but is the most niche in raids. I'm afraid he will get bored of mage. Rogue is another option but I'm afraid he might not grasp it mechanically.

I don't think it's fair there is no buyable level boost for Classic. It just simply isn't fair that for people with jobs and kids to feed and who can only play 2 hours a week, there is no way to play this game and expect some results. Just because you are unemployed and don't have kids to feed, doesn't mean you should get to enjoy this game more than people who do. Think about that.
