Watching X in japanese for the first time.i dislike that sonic x firmly established that rouge is a good guy before the sa2 arc even gets off the ground so there is no twist. in fact the entire sa2 arc feels like a waste. chris replacing amy is the least of its issues.The only thing I would say it actually offers is a singular cool scene of "I am Shadow. Shadow the hedgeog!" Other than that it's a complete letdown. Even the final hazard fight is just not interesting to watch. There's an odd sequence of sonic and Shadow just holding back the ARK and it's not visually interesting or tense, it just feels like they're saving on the animation budget. The whole Mr. Smith thing was cool I guess.
