Does anyone else think Sega should just axe the Modern Sonic branch? The Modern Sonic games have never been good. Some might say Colors and Generations were okay but honestly they're just Classic Sonic gameplay but dumbed down, have Wisps, and are 2.5D. The Modern Sonic games along with their awful, ravenous fanbase have given the franchise an amazingly terrible reputation. I think it's about time for Sega to give up on Modern Sonic and focus on making actual Good Sonic games from here on out and the only way for that to happen is to make Mania sequels as it's a formula that works (the best received Sonic game in 15 years).
