Thorns is several underrated as a support spell as well, as a warlock or hunter for example you should always ask for Thorns on your pet since it makes their threat exponentially higher.

PvP is fun for group shenanigans. When whole zones turn into an all out war. It's also fun for raid vs raid in BRM. It makes world bosses worth it (let's be real, you're never seeing any of that loot, you're just there to PvP).
