Unless Irelia lands a stun, a fear will set her up for an easy E-Q combo. Even if she's about to land the stun, the Vex can fear her so she can't make use of it. Irelia's have muscle memory to dash-kill each minion. Vex would fuck the shit out of her early game and should naturally be able to build a solid lead into mid game.
