With how popular the systems are not just recently but in general it's strange how few games in the series have an honest to God Job system in the traditional sense. The kind where you have a set number of jobs that the team can switch between I mean. Like Yoshida literally has said they keep adding jobs because they help sell expansions yet no single player mainline since arguably XII has used the system like what gives?
