Alright, running "Slayer Mod" in the MCC browserIf you're unaware, it's FFA Slayer, with tweaks to make the gameplay feel like Halo: Combat Evolved, and a weapon sandbox that aims to bring out the best of Reach's gameplay (which means including a few Reach weapons and Armor Abilities as pickups on some of the maps). Join up, it's pretty fun

At some point it'd be better just to retcon Halo 4 and make a new game entirely.

Ok session is up again. "Halo 1 Slayer Mod" in the MCC browser. For context, I'm running 50% player damage resistance and 75% weapon damage outputAt these values, everything in the sandbox feels correct (feels like default damage resistance and default weapon damage) EXCEPT the Magnum, which has its damage handled seperately via scripting. Having to figure out exactly what damage setting will create a 3-shot headshot magnum. I've now set it to the default Anniversary setting, which is a 1.516 damage multiplier.The problem is idk how much I should be compensating for the 75% base weapon damage output modifier, if at all.

Join up for some fun FFA slayer!Minor changes from last time:- Reduced Magnum damage, making it 4 shots to kill- Created a Plasma Rifle start and AR start variant (this is in addition to the AR/Magnum starts variant from last night). These 3 variants will be used with the 9 maps in this current rotation. The goal being to tone down the Magnum spam gameplay. - Activated the "super shields" effect for Overshields. This does nothing except adds a flaming trail to the feet of Overshielded players. It's not TRVE HALO, but having a visual indicator of Overshields is a good change.
