It's essentially a continuous deluge of 50/50s where there is no way to play safe or solid because every single interaction in this game is a constant coinflip. It's wild that you guys talk about stuff like "neutral" in a game where it comes down to move properties. You pressed a button but I pressed the button that beats in clear and gives me a 50& health combo? That's unfortunate, also that button isn't even unsafe. But you can step it! But I can also press my safe button that catches that step and also launches you for 50% damage. But you can stuff that with jabs or pressure! Except if I press my button that crushes your fast buttons and also launches you for 50% damage. It's kinda fun tho I get what you guys mean. But treating this as anything but a party game is silly.
