Because of Luocha Tingyun has also become a player in this and wants to take revenge on the Aeons for using mortals like her as their chess pieces, but she might just have become a piece on Luocha's board instead. This could also play into the Aeon War the Stonehearts are preparing for. You can even tie the Vidyadhara possibly breaking away from Xianzhou Alliance and The Hunt to this. It the big thing holding 2.4 to 2.7 together but it just doesn't get enough focus to make people excited for following that thread up in the future and I have no faith Mihomo's writing could ever deliver on this subplot.

Even worse, Dr. Primitive doesn't even show up, despite being involved with Device IX which also binds him to Acheron who wants to reach it and Polka Kakamond who is also also involved with them. You just deal with an actual brainrot virus introduced by his nobody disciple that is amplified because it was in the dreamscape. Ironically the 2.6 SU Expansion, bad as the gameplay gimmick was, is a lot more story relevant with Polka's involvement and introducing the concept of Nous' Circle of Knowledge. With 2.6 also confirming Dr. Primitive as an Erudition Emanator like Polka, it makes you wonder if he turns people into primates to keep them within the circle just like how Polka hunts down those who step out of it. As yet another Nous Emanator, maybe Herta is also somehow maintaining the circle even though she doesn't realize it.It also gives us more insight into Rupert, and a Rupert resurrection has been teased forever and ends with only one of the three options for a new Simulated Universe collaboration partner that Herta laid out in 1.6 still being on the table, #55 Yu Qingtu. Eventwise the March Event in 2.4 was good but it set expectations for 2.5, her training for the Wardance and then not being involved in the 2.5 Wardance event, which probably soured people even more on Luka, a character people don't care about, being the focus of that event. But gameplay and plot-wise the 2.5 event was fine. The 2.6 event fucking sucked, not much to say here. The 2.7 event had really fun character interactions the AE Crew desperately needed since 1.0, but gameplay wise it's also shit.

I do worry for Amphoreus because of how bloated the cast is. Trailblazer, March, Dan, Welt, Himeko, Sunday, Black Swan, (Boothill?) are still on the train. At least Herta is also going to go to Amphoreus from the outside and then there are the 13 Chrysos Heirs and whatever Amphoreus characters are not part of those 13. It's way too many characters, Mihoyo already couldn't give everyone a time to shine during Penacony, Firefly and Robin were off-screen for large parts of the plot, Aventurine leaves the plot after 2.1. Gopher Wood randomly dies off-screen for unknown reasons shortly before Sunday begins the ritual to turn into Dominicus and in 2.7 Sunday says another Family also appears to have been involved in the Penacony incident, something that nothing is shown off and will look like an asspull if they revisit that plot.HSR, ZZZ and Genshin all have interesting lore that doesn't get properly explored or used by the plot, I wish they had better writers.
