When it comes to the twist, i'm so stuck on the "how?" part of the truth. like how did basil and sunny actually think stringing up mari's corpse to hide the truth was okay in any possible way. if both of them love mari so much (which is told to the player numerous times), how would either of them think it's okay? or, at the very least, why would basil have the idea in the first place? it comes across as a premeditated plan as the convoluted nature of the plan is... way too much to be something thought of on the fly, regardless of how much thought was put into it. it's also not possible for it to be sunny's plan as the files explicitly point to basil being the one to suggest going through with the cover-up. it's just way too cruel of an idea, to me, for basil to have thought it up without some animosity and yet the game doesn't give any reason as to why he would other than to cover for sunny. hell, if they actually went through with it being an accident and tried to save mari, there might be a legitimate reason for them to be forgiven and have sympathy!
