ggs vasanon.There's a few big things I noticed.1. You're a bit too passive when you score a knockdown. Maybe you were worried about a reversal but generally you can continue your offense on oki.2. It's important to learn your safe and unsafe moves. Also to know which of your moves are plus or minus. If you're plus, you can keep up your offense so you want to try and continue using moves that are plus. You should get into the habit of buffering a skill every time you press a button so you can cancel off that button and into the skill.3. You seem to struggle against fireballs which is fair for Vas. I think the best thing you can do is armor up (5U) and then do his H walk. You can armor through the fireballs and possibly score a hit if you're far away with the low follow-up. You can also roll (cross-over) on reaction to most fireballs.I don't think Granblue is as easy to learn for a first experience as people say. It's very fundies-oriented and learning a lot of the stuff in the game kinda relies on already having fighting game knowledge. Vas is definitely a character that would be hard for your first time. I'd recommend playing someone like Gran so you can get a strong foothold before playing a more difficult character. There's a lot to learn but I hope you can keep at it and have fun. Just remember to keep asking for advice and go into training mode to drill new concepts into your muscle memory.

Light attacks are the fastest and are used to interrupt opponent's pressure the most, so they lead to little damage and are hard to punish on whiff. Like for example, against someone like Metera who zones you 99% of the match and you would be lucky to get in 3 times a round you might want to not throw her where she gets to continue zone you, even if you get to have the buff.Also if midscreen 2H doesn't counter hit, Vas usually needs to spend a resource to extend an anti air combo. If its the frame data, i wouldnt worry too much about the specifics as most of it isnt important. just know what moves are plus, and which ones are punishable on block. dont worry about hitting with the latter active frames, its only really matters for certain meaty options and specific special moves that advance your character forward, in which case its best to hit at max range (like viras 214L for example is -6 at close range and is punishable on block, or -4 when used at max range, and is safe on block)most things carry over between games with minor differences too, its not as hard as it sounds

They’re two different numbers, the devs can set them to be whatever they want.Hitstun almost always lasts longer than blockstun because the purpose of hitstun is to allow you to combo into the next move, so you need a lot of frames to do that. Blockstun can’t last for that long because otherwise you’d have crazy pressure strings that the opponent couldn’t escape from, so blockstun might give you a LITTLE frame advantage but not much.

Do this by ending your pressure in a plus on block move. When youre plus, your c.L counterhits people mashing. once you condition them not to mash, thats when you start throwing out command grabs and then it starts to boil down to coin flips. You need to mix up your blockstrings so your opponent doesnt know when it ends. You shouldnt be getting hit back unless your ending with a risky move that is punishable on block

You make people afraid you're going to attack, so they block, but then instead of doing a strike, you do a throw.
