Allah with gunlance is easy, provided you have a normal GL and crit element. AT velk is really fucking annoying because the ground turns to ice and trying to attack forward will make you slide as if it was a slope. Fatty is the hardest out of the bunch if you actually enjoy the gun part of gunlance. With slaplance it's alright, if you shell you can forget breaking the head. Unless you get super autistic with positioning and can land a full burst on every slight opening

It depends honestly because generally the monster is flopping on the floor the entire time unless your team is dogshit so it basically just becomes a dps check. The only times this isn't true is for siege quests that are explicitly designed around multiplayer but those fights tend to be fairly boring so ultimately if you find just mashing fun then yes monhun is fun multiplayer but if you don't like that then no it's not fun

Shaver jewel gives the best of both.
Avoiding monster attacks is good, but if you're literally running away all the time that's a problem. If a monster is preparing to attack that's your queue to jab with a quick weapon, or get into the next position and charge a slow weapon.

I have Critical Eye 7, Weakness Exploit 3, Crit Boost 2, Attack Boost 3, and the highest raw white sharpness weapon available in its category.

Truthfully Barioth I made some equipment fuck ups and didn't know how to tenderize properly so that one kind of doesn't count, Glavenus I just mentally checked out like 20 minutes in and stopped even trying to maximize damage but I included them just because. I am usually well over average completion time for any game and this kind of makes it clear it's not just from wandering or getting lost or anything but the ultra passive way I do fights to avoid timing and reaction tests.

Tokuda said during the last stream they did that if they did another beta it would just be the original one with nothing changed, and given how much negative feedback they got on the performance of it and how much damage control they've been doing with saying the performance is now much improved, it's extremely doubtful they'll do a second beta. If you're having trouble with learning a weapon, try dual blades.

You have to learn how to use the weapon to move and weave around the monster. If you can't get in a ton of hits to build your meter or a window to use ZSD, get a few swipes, get out, get back in. So the thing with ranged weapons is, for balancing purposes you take twice as much physical damage as melee weapons do. Bow is probably the least safe ranged weapon, which means you'll be eating a lot of shit while you learn the game. Velkhana I could do significantly faster on replay, that was with LS and it took me a while to figure out how to get foresight followup roundslashes to actually hit it or how to not need to roll every 1.5 seconds. On the other hand with Bazelgeuse and Vaal I never did find a way to use foresight slash against them (even the timing on Bazelgeuse's slow ass slam would fuck me) and hitting full spirit combos is also a huge pain in the ass against the former so when you have bad offensive uptime to begin with then you lose buff uptime and damage output drops to absolute garbage. Blackveil just fucking sucks in general, he parks himself in some narrow area where you know you'll get trapped by his AoEs and just spams fart beams into geometry obstructions for a minute while you try to force him to move.

seething bazelguese is pretty easy with GS. hit him and run away on repeat. his actual attacks are pretty slow, guaranteeing that you'll get one or two hits in before you have to move again and if you're constantly sprinting around it will be hard for you to get caught with the exploding scales. also, most of his body is a weak spot so if you've got late game gear he will take a lot of damage when you do hit him.

GS is actually ez mode once you get your core skills (Crit draw, Focus, Quick Sheathe) in 4u. Just progressing through G2 right now but I can already solo a lot of monsters faster with these 3 skills than my endgame SnS sets in GU, despite my 500 hours exclusively playing Striker SnS there.
