The modern damage reduction hurts. This isn't the sort of game where you can be satisfied returning to neutral because you're confident in your neutral. This is the type of game where you want to end the round in two guesses instead of potentially 3 or 4 with modern.
they need to make a control scheme with no drive meter and as a trade off, you don't get to do epic drive rushes or drive parry, but all your normals are plus on block as if the opponent was in burnout.

So I can't see how a player like Noah or Punk would benefit going to the more consistent route with Modern when they're already so consistent in Classic when it comes to reacting.
