I ended up doing phase 1 messmer in Rellana's room with a Messmer's Soldier's lightnign axe with about 30vig and 30 str, at scadu blessing 5. It was pretty easy because I did RL1 messmer before. I then killed a greater potentate who replaced beast claw logur, pumped vig then killed jori in the western mausoleum, trying the backstab strat. I got the pata from him and used it to kill a Deat Knight replacing Marigga. I killed the deathblight lion in the belurat gaol (a fucking pain with the small room and basilisks) and now I'm trying to get all the scavengers before triggering the miquella rune break.

I'm playing a pure tank build that should make it so the host pretty much never has to take a lick of damage. All I need are golden vow and blessing of the erdtree and I can hold aggro all day for them, at that point it's not a question of if the boss will die but when.
