It recently piqued my curiosity that there was an unreleased Director's Cut of the film, and as soon as I heard about it, I began a search for it. Right now I'm putting fonts together to reimplement the death taunts that would appear on the screen when you died. Can you believe that in earlier versions of this game, I just took screenshots of AOSRH and used those to display the taunts? I just finished Penpal, which is another famous REDDIT creepypasta. Borrasca was hyped up as this really disturbing story with a horrifying ending, but the majority of that story wasn't horror at all, and then the horrifying ending was just pedophilic sex slavery that made no sense. Penpal is actually a horror story the entire way through and presents several uniquely disturbing scenarios, especially its ending, without relying on cheap shock value. There are some problems with it (the plot would be cut short if the mom just called the police at a few points) but it's pretty good overall. I recommend it! Could even watch a narration of it on Cytube at some point.One thing is that this story is barely a creepypasta and even just got adapted into a published novel at some point. This is true of most "creepypastas" published on Reddit. I think a creepypasta should either uniquely make use of some internet format (like forum posts) or be actually based on the internet in some way. Something like Marble Hornets is an example of the former (despite Slenderman not really being connected to the internet, the story is told in a way unique to the internet), while Funnymouth (which is all about an online occurrence) is an example of the latter. Penpal's use of the REDDIT format is so unimportant that it was able to be easily removed in the novel. The r/nosleep stories seem mostly to be by aspiring novelists (Borrasca, The Third Parent, etc). I don't think these stories really qualify as creepypastas as a result but Penpal is a good enough horror story that I still wanted to talk about it and recommend it. This also has nothing to do with video games but WHATEVER
