I have obtained an Esserman ball. Evidently the inflation process for these requires a 24 hour stretch period before completing inflation to the full dimensions. I have inflated to 60cm and will blow it out to the fuil 75cm tomorrow evening. This evening I will play blitz in my normal chair. I can feel how suboptimal this seating position is. The ball is in the periphery of my view. "soon" it says.

Played correspondence with my neighbor after he found out that I played and told me that he could “hold his own” (I asked if he played online, of course not). I understand why Esserman bounces now. There is no need to bounce when sitting on these pilates balls. You can balance them easily and sit stationary. I had an amazing end to a game the other day. I was completely lost against a 2500 lirapid but I went for one last trick and allowed him to go up a full queen. He failed to calculate correctly and got checkmated.
