I'm very optimistic now that we've seen a nerf and that we're getting an actual male ultimate. If we see one nerf we can see more, likewise for more ult-men. It was really frustrating to see the devs talk about addressing the matchmaking problems for a long time but not do anything, but now they have. It means this game isn't doomed to just eternally devolve into lazy goonbait. They even mentioned having a talk to 'Alpha' whose been messing with the balance, which was really surprising for a Korean studio (I should probably read the credits to find out who the balance guy is so I can address him properly).Sigma Sector is a noticeable stepup from Void Vessel too, which has me hopeful the game can continue to get better and better content. I was worried that the devs had given up hope on their game, but now I have hope they can continue to improve it, even if things aren't super great. Most of all, I'm looking forward to the day I can tell my friends to come back and play with me again. And with Nexon actually putting some investment into this game now, I have real hope the game will atleast last longer than Outriders and Anthem.

Medical turret is still one of the genuinely worst abilities in the game, besides both the heal and the taunt being pretty ass the assault turret got a bump in HP this patch so medical turret isn't even worth it from a damage soaking perspective anymore. Medical compulsion is obviously pretty bad and remote engineering is only good for AFK farming but there's not much to AFK farm late game except last dagger and I already have that. Immediate purge code is alright since that got buffed so if you max the cooldown and duration you can keep up atleast 3 damage zones at all times instead of two, and also the damage is now such that I feel I can still run dimension focus, but I'd still say not worth just because of how bad medical turret is. It's actually baffling that while they were out here quadrupling numbers they didn't do anything to medical turrets heal % or taunt range. As for the invitiation to tormentor hunts... maybe.

Objectively the best value item is the 1 hour 15% arche exp boost. Since we're capped at 2 HVR a day it takes 5 days to buy the +1 equipment or storage slot. But every 7 days you can buy a +2 equipment/storage slot from ETA, so its more economical to buy from ETA then the HVR shop and it's easier to get the yellow tag currencies for ETA then HVRs. As for the arche exp boosts, you're really only buying them for the daily 4k bonus exp bonus on each mission to gain an extra 600 bonus exp. So the 5 hour exp boost is useless in that regard as it costs more and does the same and the 3 day exp boost has the same problem of being too expensive for what you want. So again the only worthwhile item in the store is the 1 hour boost.

They aren't changing VE to make other descendants more applicable in it. They're doing it to sell Blair. They wouldn't have touched it otherwise. I'm glad it's being changed, but it shows how fake their give-a-fuck attitude is. They left it as is for many patches and only announce they see it's "issues" when they realize Blair wouldn't be able to effectively do stuff since he's skill based, so they make the enemies for vulnerable to skills. It's like when they released the new dog type solely because they realized Serena (in their bad vision of her) would be shit because her flying and shooting all the time meant she couldn't collect ammo. Half o their patch content these days is stuff added/changed solely because the new Descendant needs it, not because the rest of the game does.
