You think this event is some big experiment to consider adding gas cans to the base game or is it just for le quirky new gamemode?
The only counterplay I know to the ghoul so far is just running straight past pallets and hoping he was anticipating a drop, because then he prepares his power for the fast vault but loses distance instead. I can't even tell if he did this or not because I haven't learned the animations (or if we even see any).

The issue is that you can only kick them and the regression does fuck all. A secondary problem are the placements, it's extremely RNG but if survivors smash out all the blood gens, it can either be the easiest 3-gen of your life or literally unable to protect them.
