Then I did a full SL1 run, beat it before but before AotA so now I've got the dlc done as SL1 too.Right now playing DS2 SOTFS, killed every boss up until the throne and dlcs, so I'm about to start on the sunken dlc. I beat the sunken dlc before but never the other two so that's gonna be something.DS2 all in all feels alright to replay. DS1 had like 2-3 moments that felt bullshit, like I couldn't wrap my head around how to not get grabbed by Manus and it would oneshot me as SL1, but eventually it just clicked and I got him. SOTFS started out feeling floaty to play coming right out of DS1 but I got used to it after a few hours. I breezed through SOTFS Iron Keep when I expected it to be nightmarish, thanks to Great Club being strong early. Things that notably piss me off momentarily in DS2 are gank rooms where I get surrounded if I don't carefully kite tough mobs and kill them one after another, I get frustrated when I can equip full Havel's set and still get stunlocked 100-0 by tiny enemies. Demon of Song did 80% of my 50 VIG health bar in one arm swing when I had full Havel's and steel ring, expecting it to barely be able to scratch my hp. Because of that I went and used a respec, now I'm wearing full Faraam and using power stanced zweihanders instead. I got pushed into a few corners I couldn't roll out of and killed. The fucking flame salamanders down in the giant forest basement would never stop spinning and pushing me around while simultaneously spamming fireballs that kill me in 4 hits, spamming 3 at a time with like a 3 second delay between spam and fireballs would randomly knock me on the floor and stun me for fucking 5 seconds.Darklurker pissed me off with his janky animations and having a very tedious run back when I died but I got him in 4 tries.
