God I just fucking realized something about Doey's death. He grabs you when you're about to open the door, but lets go once the nitrogen is spraying him. So what's stopping you from just turning around and open the door while he's distracted, instead of bringing the big drill thing down on him first?If they let you make that choice it would have been perfectly foreshadowed by the Simon Smoke thing from before. Where you're told to kill him, and it seems like most players do because they think it's the only option, but there's a way to escape without sacrificing him.
