...and this is why, dear CA, you should give us Dark Elf Reavers. Unlike all other unit champions you've already elevated to a full unit (marauder champions, chameleon stalkers, exalted daemonettes) this one has a speciality: in the 7th edition army book he could wield dual crossbows.
This unique combination of weapons is previously unseen in Total War: Warhammer and it would make for an interesting short-range rapid-fire unit who can fire at 360°

I'm getting real anxious about my gf playing TW:WH3.

Both books says Dark Elves basically have full control of the west coast of Ind and colonies there. Malekith even has an emissary he personally sent to be stationed there. This is also why there are no humans from Ind in the west because they won't let Ind have a navy. The eastern side is mostly tigermen while the humans live in the west.

They are demanding Norsca CoC style for two reasons. One is Styrkaar is not the FLC LL for Slaanesh then why want him as the Slaanesh LL for a 4 way-DLC.

Two is they don't want Norsca in the Slaanesh dlc because they are pushing dark elves and cathay or dark elves and high elves vs slaanesh very hard and are scared norsca is going to be in it. They all know and agree that norsca has to release before dogs of war though.

I still don't understand when enemies get wiped out or not

Autoresolve seems to wipe them out most of the time, but sometimes they still run away.
I thought ambush wipes them out but apparently not - a hero survived, turned into a hero on the campaign map and embedded into a nearby army.
Fighting them twice in the same turn wipes them out, except when it doesn't because it's a special army like the Lahmian spawn.

Am I making a big mistake in empire campaigns by aggressively expanding and confederating when possible?
It feels like your resources get spread too thin, you're forced to use crapstacks with no real firepower because you can't afford to upgrade buildings, and then Gorbad, Skrag, or one of the chaos shits just roll up with several armies to flatten you.

Asking because I feel like my SFO Elspeth campaign has stalled a bit and my borders are pretty ugly, and enemies are everywhere with big 20/40 stacks

Also VC should not even have basic undead in the army. All basic undead should be raised for each fight in a pre battle screen. This would be a cannibalization of the slaanesh seduction mechanics. You buy your basic undead units with dark power. After the battle is over any undead grunts remaining return to the dark power pool.
Each undead lord has a max dark power purchasing capacity. It can be increased with heros, effects, skills, ect.
VC have gold and dark power now as two resources. This way you can have VC heros and important units (like blood knights/Vargheists) in the army but still have your undead horde.
I think this is a better system but plz tell me if I am retarded.

Here is Richard Alrdidge based on the criteria of how they select legendary heroes and legendary lords. While Nastasya would fit the role a FLC LL. Unique because she would be the only spellcaster lord and she would be able to boost their other spellcasters. The main issue is that sorcerer lords are locked into the DLC which blocks her from being the option. Dechala and Masque are basically the same exact thing so obviously they aren't going to do identical clones that add nothing different from each other as the legendary lords.

I really have no idea who they are going to do as legendary lord but like rich said they need to boost something unique and be different so that rules out Masque by default who is a Dechala clone.(It does leave her as the possibility of the legendary hero though.)

In case you people were wondering, in the history of Warhammer Sigvald was one of the four Champions of Chaos, essentially in place of Azazel.

Azazel was the biggest baddest demon to ever exist, he was a couple with Amon'Chakai (one is the fighter demon, the other the caster demon).
This was when demons were meant to be one big block while Chaos had its own four Champions (Dechala, Valnir, Arbaal and Egrimm). These four were abandoned because Egrimm was bigger and stronger than Archaon and Arbaal was as big. So they reinvented Archaon's champions later as four foot sloggers meant to be beneath him and his horse.

Not him but it isn't that it isn't canonical, it's that dark fortresses are your entire campaign goals. You HAVE to keep taking them to build up your army to move south, meaning you're fighting chaos more than you're fighting order, which is dumb. They should scrap the current dark fortress mechanic and turn it into herdstone lite: WoC factions can raze any province capital and pay a shit ton of favor (scaling upwards with each one) to occupy it as a dark fortress instead, enabling a FOB in any theater. Maybe unique or landmark locations for these can still exist in the wastes to remain an incentive for fighting chaos if it tickles your fancy.

My last Archaon game I basically took like 2 dark fortresses, merced Boris, moved into Kislev, and started fucking shit up. This was admittedly before SoC though but I can't imagine WoC being that power crept. Very little fighting against Chaos.

More settlements you own, more neighbours you get. And all those neighbors + people who declared war on you, added to the groodge meter.

So if you want less points, just raze everything. Build deeps in your core settlements, sign NAPs with your order allies and let them border your enemies.

Also you should be finishing 1 or 2 legendary groodges in the 3rd age of reckoning.

For vampire counts bloodline CoC. Richard Aldridge saying Vampire Counts fans will be very happy when he was talking about future DLC during the OoD video added with the patch notes for this specifically this line.

Literally no reason to do that if there aren't going to be a bunch of playable bloodlines. If Vampires were in this DLC it would end with only two playable bloodlines. Lahmia and Von Carsteins which would make updating that completely pointless.

For Norsca a combination of the release Q&A of CoC of them saying future paid content for Norsca, teasing Crom for years like this guy's image from a blog, >>520941571 and the patch notes saying they are updating Kurgans a minor faction to be more aggressive when they only do stuff like that for major factions. That combined with every single Creative Assembly partner on Youtube been saying for months the DLC is Slaanesh/Norsca/High Elves.

For High Elves only guessing them because of the Youtubers. I don't think they really make sense though as the third faction.

There was 160-300-300 on settlements, then two armies with about 300-500 each (all clan Mors)
Everything else was less than 50. I had barely any grudges bordering me. So what the actual fuck.
