There's literally no armor aura in poe2 except for the shitty armor scrap gathering one and no other real synergies, plus you're heavily disincentivized to really invest in defenses because the dps curve is so punishing, plus the armor quadrant of the tree just objectively sucks. >>521114219>Why didnt it take off?because it costs money. if it were free it'd be a slam dunk, but even for forty dollars it's fine. you'll get forty hours out of it. maybe a little bit more. the problem with the game is that i's just good, which is a weird thing to have be a problem but it's just not a game you can fall in love with. a lot of people blame the end game and there being not a lot to do, but the mapping experience while boring after a while is pretty comfy. it'd be hard to really put a finger on what it's missing. crafting is good but simple. ssf / trade is amazing. ssf gives bonus loot and you can still trade with friends. you can also switch to trade or ssf at any time. all of the builds are fine. and balanced enough against each other that you wont feel bad for not playing the op thing. but again, i dunno. just doesnt have the vision.
