I platinumed Remake so its not like I was incapable of grasping the basics of the combat, but after playing ER as much as I did and coming back to Remake's style of combat for Rebirth, I ended up struggling with it. It's hard to deprogram myself to block instead of dodge, since dodging simply isn't as universally useful in these games as it is in Soulslikes. The combat is for sure amazing, even if it did somewhat filter me. Still beat the game and I'll still be back for part 3 though.
