I don't care about the difficulty or the combo reliance but every weapon has a dozen skills most of which are trash support gems are usually just damage multipliers or slight mechanical changes there's almost no variety and no interesting interactions premade combos are extremely limited and are often unrewarding stillyou are trudging through the game not because of slow Ms or challenging mobs or whatever, but because your character has no exponential growth which is the main reason people are addicted to poe1 fucking sleepoch has every skill have dozens of passives a lot of which greatly change how it functions so your skills morph and evolve while you're playing through the game poe2 has you play the same character from act 2 into endgame but with bigger numbers. not even that much bigger. it is no longer a number get bigger game but there's nothing else new going on. so it's just... boring.

the more I think about it the bigger the mess poe2 is they talk about combos this and combos that but they are all caps text on the gems basically, absolutely obvious, fixed and premade things you want to do bleed spears? there's a single basic skill that applies guaranteed bleed with double the magnitude, so you're doing that, they even painted it red in case you haven't learnt how to read I guess. there's a single clear herald that interacts with bleed so you're using it. there's a single mark that is made specifically for bleed and nothing else, you're doing that. there's also a finisher gem that gets most of its damage from bloodloss so you're also doing that. you can also use an incision skill and due to how it works multihit skills are an obvious choice, you have spearfield and rapid assault, one is much better than the other. then click as much attack crit bleed and dot nodes on the tree as you can. there's your spears bleed build. where's the player agency? where's clever leveraging of mechanics, or utilizing weird scaling angles and interactions, or anything interesting at all? oh there's also snipe bleed build that is only a thing because of guaranteed crit with huge ass hit so that's an obvious ailment gem choice as well. can't go more on the nose than that really. maybe just writing "bleed" in half the lines on the gem. but then you just get bleed spears. this is the most uninspired and primitive arpg out there by far and this hack is so full of himself like he's some genius artist. lmao. this game is years away from being worth anyone's time.

After finding out companions are ass I finally got my Tactician Spectres online with some gear.but most importantly finding out Scattershot cuts Vaal Guard's dps in half and gimped my clear.
