Another pain point would be finding opponents that are around your skill level but once I learned how the color/symbol ranking in the rooms worked, I was able to pick my matches and slowly learn what characters can do.

When is this game going to get proper matchmaking? I hate this game's lobby system with a passion. I don't play this game often. Maybe once every couple of months to play with a friend or just for the hell of it. Almost every time I get on alone, I go to quickmatch. EVERY SESSION I'm getting matched with the exact same player over and over again and it drives me insane. If their connection is decent, cool. I'll play this one guy for half an hour until I get bored. If their connection is trash, I deny them 80 times before they get the memo or accept by mistake and then have to slog through a lagfest. Eventually I get fed up and go to that floor system or whatever the fuck. I'm floor 10 for some reason despite not having really played in over a year. WHY AM I STILL FLOOR 10? If I'm lucky, I'll get a couple different players. Usually I get one person over and over again, usually playing some turbo rushdown like Giovanna or Milia or Sol. Not that they're broken or anything but I play mostly Axl so I get my teeth kicked in for 2 games. Wait for a new match, get matched with the same player as others walk over, then I assume see I'm playing Axl and decide not to play then fuck off. Only for Giovannafeetlicker4819 to come back for another session of kicking my ass. I wanna play Strive but I FUCKING HATE THE MATCHMAKING SYSTEM!!!!
