All of GGG's attempts to fix the game with numeric/value solutions are never going to work because the base root cause of all problems is an artistic one.They simply have made bad animations for player movement, dodging and combat. All "fixes" they try to do afterwards to make the game better hinge on numerically assisting systems that are just symptoms of these underlying mortal wounds.They can simply delete the current dodge roll animation and do a better faster more engaging one that is more like a strafe/dash without the clunkyness and this would be a massive factor in general gameplay improvement.The next step would be unfucking all the combat animations they have specifically for mace/melee to remove the pointless windups at the start (the downtime on an attack should be at the end, not the start so that your attacks are immediate, but commit with weight)If they're unwilling to address this now while they still can before they add in all the rest of the classes and items, they will drop a 1.0 turd that maybe 300k people will tune in for.

you really cannot overstate how cucked attributes are in poe2. I made a new Shadow in phrecia recently and these are his stats in fucking act 2, I just killed the weaver when I took the screenshot. to have stats like this in poe2 you'd expect to be 60+ in good gear; this is SSF with no leveling uniques/twink gear, you just get so many more attributes in poe1 since the tree is set up different. In poe1 it's common for travel nodes to be something like +10 str, then +10 int, then +10 dex so taking all 3 gets you +30 stats; in poe2 you're "rewarded" with the ability to select nodes but they've been cut in half so instead of 30 stats you get 15, and in travel areas where it'd be like +10 of the same stat 3 times in poe1 you just get nothing.
