So overall, I'm very glad Nemlei decided to release the first half instead of waiting. It's given the fanbase a life saving infusion and plenty to discuss until Decay 2, and Shots and Such is a kino "false ending" that gives a sense of finality until then. Nemlei has set up such a perfect love story it's incredible Both of these characters want to be the version of themselves that the other would fall in love with. Andrew needs to be a more confident, communicative, and ambitious person. Ashley needs to be a more stable, friendly, and rational person. Both love each other already but as we saw in Shots and Such, neither of them are ready for what they both want right now. Obviously growing up doesn't happen overnight but I get the sense that in the happiest ending it'll be really satisfying to see these two realize more of their potential in such a mutually supportive relationship.
