Why does it look so uninspired? Is now a good time to get into Destiny? I tried it for like a week or two a couple years ago but it felt like a more bland (but prettier) Borderlands. I was hoping the gameplay would be like Halo, but the enemies aren't as expressive and fun to fight, and they just kind of stand there and let you shoot them, and the guns aren't as creative, so it reminded me more of Firefall, but with less freedom of movement. Man I miss Firefall.Have they added a polished campaign or anything since, or is it still mostly MMO-type quests? It felt even more like an MMO than Borderlands did. Always chasing gear/loot but not being really invested in the world or the story. Really, REALLY pretty game though. Love the art direction. The did kind of go off the rails later, but when I played it I was always stopping to admire the scenery out in the distance, love the Halo-esque scale and detail of the skybox. Which made the lack of a fleshed out campaign really frustrating.
