I fucking hate swarms.

>>521643167Because Eora was theirs and Paradox paid them to make a game and they didn't want to just hand over the rights to their in-house IP. >>521643894>The DA2-ification is returningWhat does that mean? Rushed games? Playersexual shit? Games that are just tonally all over the place compared to their original?
>>521643894>Because Eora was theirs and Paradox paid them to make a game and they didn't want to just hand over the rights to their in-house IP.Then why was PoE finished while Tyranny was only half done? Since both were published by Paradox, if I'm not mistaken, I would have expected them to want the IP that they are going to control to be the more polished product.
>>521643754>Besides, since Paradox is abandoning RPGs now it would be rather easy to acquire it from them.Oh, my sweet summer child...
>>521643317Still better than late 00s, where your cRPG choice for a couple of years would be either Dragon Age: Origins, or Bethesda slop, or some eurojank low budget RPGs made by the likes of CD Project, Piranha Bytes and Larian.>>521643423>owlcat seems to want to do more companions interacting with each other in the party which is good. This is not a recent trend, it's literally a thing that propelled both Squaresoft and BioWare to their heights.>I don't like how failing skill checks in their and larain games always lead to 100% bad outcomesThis is something that people hate since New Vegas.

>>521645565>We need more gypsy wives in rpgs
>>521644379Because Obsidian had enough money to publish PoE by themselves and needed Paradox only for physical release, which wasn't the case with Tyranny. Time was also a factor, since PoE was in development for like a 3 years, which is a lot by Obsidian standards. Oh, and also Obsidian are bad at management and planning stuff, which had repeatedly bitten them in the ass since KotOR 2 (and Alpha Protocol being the worst offender).
>>521644379>Since both were published by ParadoxWhile factually true, this statement obsfucates important information.PoE was crowdfunded. They either paid Paradox outright or gave them a small percentage of revenue to handle the literal publishing.Tyranny was contracted out to Obsidian by Paradox (ie Paradox footed the bill) and as such the IP rights in the end would lie with the publisher. During development they would have had to meet milestones set by Paradox and be subject to their whims. If you want me to draw a crude parallel: former is more a partnership and latter is more akin to client-patron relationship; at the end the painter has to hand the painting over to the nobility. The greenlight for Tyranny came about as far as I can tell in the final days before PoE's release. Obsidian had been off-and-on shopping around a pitch for what would eventually become Tyranny to the publisher circuit for a decade. If you want me to speculate, Paradox probably saw all the media buzz and attention around PoE before launch and wanted to get some of the halo effect by having a release from the same studio in the same genre shortly after. If PoE had blown up like say Skyrim or BG3, that probably would have been hugely profitable. Plus they'd have this mega desirable developer in their good graces. However, when PoE release and didn't do gangbusters they hurried it out the door to just be done with it. Again, that's speculation, but as far as I know it lines up.

>>521651070This is clearly some kind of graphical issue. The problem is finding old clips on youtube is impossible now as the results are flooded with DA2 and DA:V. She was originally white. If you were around back then then you'd know there was a bit of a hub-bub when the da2 materal started coming out because people didn't think it was the same character from DAO despite the same name due to the completely different look. Of course, back then we didn't have our hackles up as much about DEI/SJW so it was more of a head scratch followed by a shoulder shrug; BW was OUR studio back then and we were more than willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

UNLESS he'd need to perform a blood ritual for that and some huge field of battle is the best way to do it
>>521654902The war parts was to distract the nations so he could complete the ritual but you disrupt it which leads to the elven gods escaping. It was a late game event in this compared to happening at the beginning of the game
>>521652949>(if you pop her into the model program, she has super tan skin)Then I await someone to do just that. Gaider is a notoriously liar.If memory serves you even see Isabela walk out of the bar when you complete her quest (I forget completely what that is) so you see her in "normal light" as well and she looks the same. I intentionally linked a video with Leliana so you can see their skin looks the same in that bright lighting (a common excuse).Besides, even if we want to hand wave that all away. Her hair is still wildly different than later depicitions and would make no sense on a dark-skinned person (DAO has very "grounded" hair color choices).

>>521655929Not hard to believe even as a Morriganfag myself, a cute redhead bard isn't easy to resist. Even moreso because Morrigan spends most of the game being a tsudnere pain in the ass towards you. And keep in mind her ending was pretty ambiguous until the witch hunt DLC came out and gave you a happy ending with her while Leliana has a classic "save the day and get the girl" in the base game. It's like with the Witcher where dedicated fanbases are full of Yenfags who spiral into a full blown meltdown if you say anything positive about Triss. But you ask your average dude who played Witcher 3 then you'll most likely get Triss as an answer because she's a hot redhead who doesn't treat Geralt like a dog.

>>521660729Harding isn't even the same character from DAI. In that game she was an experienced scout and acted like it. In Veilguard she somehow mentally regressed and now acts like a 20 year old college girl with every other thing coming out of her mouth being a shitty marvel movie tier quip.
>>521658384Wasn't there a new project lead for almost every new DA game? DA:O development was led by Brent Knowles who had left BioWare right after the acquisition by EA (because he was against turning Dragon Age into fantasy Mass Effect, so he stepped down and quit), then it was Mark Darrah & Mike Laidlaw's domain during DA2 and DA:I era, and finally it was Dreadwolf/Veilguard clusterfuck.

The first game had a complete story, was very slavish to the source material, and I believe it was also under Sapkowski's supervision (IIRC, he also wrote the ending). Then I gather he wasn't interested in doing any more games, so CDPR had more freedom for W2, and that's where you actually see attempts at establishing new things and new characters, at expanding the world.

>>521661530Well, yes, but that would be mostly applicable to Veilguard. Nevertheless, I believe it's good enough reason why every game in the series feels drastically different, and why certain features or plotlines didn't go anywhere.
>>521663164>He doesn't show up late. he's a third companion you get.You see how forgetable he is? I sure as shit remember Blizz and Gault. Please help me decide between going pure fighter, probably berserker or barb, or fighter/mage for a first playthrough of Baldurs Gate 1 and 2.Playing a pure fighter seems kinda most fitting and heroic I guess. From the couple hours I played the game before though pure martials aren’t all that interesting.Fighter/mage is the cliche munchkin choice but also seems like the actual gameplay would be the most fun, also looks like there are basically hero companions which fulfill that role.
>>521664461"Gay" as in same-sex, not gay as in dude on dude. That still took awhile. Besides the romance with Juhani is pretty tame in comparison to other ones. I'd offer that Mass Effect was the first time that truly comparable homosexual romances were an option. (They even cheated at first since Liara is "only" female by default).
>>521664928If you're going pure martial and are planning to be heroman I'd recommend Cavalier.

BioWare wasn't perfect, but their games were mostly competent and comfy.Although what I don't understand is why there are no successful projects made by BioWare remnants? Remnants of Interplay/BIS had created Troika, inXile and Obsidian, which made dozens of games (some of which are genre classics), while the only successful project made by former BioWare employees that I can think of was The Banner Saga trilogy (and that was made by people from Austin studio, not the Edmonton one).

It will work nicely too because you'll want to focus on certain kind of spells that a pure mage won't be.Also might I suggest Spell Revisions, I think it's an improvement in every way over vanilla. It's just better. I'd also honestly suggest NPC Project, yes even for a first playthrough. Is it a bit cringy? Yeah sometimes, but so is BG1. Also without it, your companions are almost entirely silent and have like 1 or 2 step quests. Others might disagree and you might not want to mess with mods your first time playing but that's my suggestion anyhow.
Has anyone played Arcanum? Is the early game really balanced around 25% hit rates? The level 3 enemies in the mines in Shrouded Hills are giving me some trouble. Also, how easy is it to fuck up a build? I think my build is a little shitty.

>>521667413I'm honestly kind of curious to see what happens, but not nearly enough to actually play through it. Maybe I'll look for a video later. Then again, most of the romances are basically just talking aside from Jaheira's and the vampire event

The whole using different spells than most mages thing is true, all the touch spells look neat for example.Probably gonna skip out on any mods for this first playthrough just to see what vanilla is like and honestly from the little I played of 1 before, I liked the companions not constantly having dialogue or a million quests.

I’m in the process of separating origins into different stages. A type of checkpoint system used to develop the perfect strategy, with one goal in mind. Creating the most successful hero during the 9th age of thedas. Currently the route looks like this. -lowest level companions -an xp grind, before a gold grind. For maximum profit from chest resetting, we want to reach a warden level in increments of 3. -do brecillian forest first(even before the fade) to unlock a higher warden level for even more gold. -mage tower is second, because rogue is kinda useless without it. Although one problem here is there’s not much skippable content in the mage tower. The route would really rather do this place later. But if you can’t get lethality, rogue sucks. -after this. We chase bis drops in order from biggest impact to our parties damage. Grandmaster runes, dead thiag shanker, legion of the dead armor, warden commanders boots, warriors ring, all skill tomes and spell tomes and attribute tomes. -we will be getting oghrens stuff LAST, as he won’t even join our party until probably 3 main quests are complete. -doing big reward quests after mage tower. Crime wave, smuggling the lyrium to Godwin requires 50 cunning, we should be very close to that. -paralysis runes definitely will look good in our offhand slot. I was using dweomer but im changing that around with the brecillian strategy. So with all this in mind. The goal is to get oghren worthy of bringing into our party. To make oghren outperform a second rogue, we kinda need to take some points into cunning. Which is going to ruin our oghren. Definitely an oversight was giving stealing a cunning requirement. But he’s still going to out dps lelianna once he gets his stuff. I’m having second thoughts about oghren. His boss DPS is very high end game, he will kill all unranked in 1 hit probably. So one idea here is to bring him once we dont need to steal anymore. After we buy everything we need.

>>521702646So, this is Duke wolf-grin's city.More ruined than I would have expected, and the guard is lax.
>>521702404The benefit to stealing from combat npcs is gold and additional xp used for the supply crate like runes, gems and low level crafting materials. One rogue can easily be enough to steal from the elites, but if we want to steal from every lower ranked enemy we really want at least 2 stealers, probably 3 is ideal or else we just wait around too much for steal to come off cooldown. One good thing is once we dont need to steal anymore, we also wont need a tank. So our final party composition will just be 4 very high dps characters. But to actually get to that point, you cant fuck around early game.

So should I play through the ashes before the main game? Since it's kind of a side story and/or prequel? If not, when should I play it?Same question for the rest of the dlc too I guess. Are they integrated naturally or what. I know Masks is kind of an epilogue. Also I'm going to be playing 100% turn based mode. I've started and quit and restarted this game several times over the years, but I think the game being "done" as in all dlc released will make me more inclined to stick with it, and I'm also seeing if turn based mode makes me like it more as well.
>>521723382It’s cringe. BG3 is the outlier because CRPGs are never mainstream big sellers. Steam charts threads are a cancer
>>521723723I'm guessing you can get it later, but normally you would just get the results of a completed Through the Ashes run after the tavern defense. As for lord of nothing I think it's a part 5 command room eventInevitable Excess' thing is given to you as soon as you get mythic 1 iirc (honestly I never use that ability), but there's a handful of powerful items scattered throughout the game you get from it if you played on higher difficulties. The first is in the graveyard Sosiel has you go to. The second is by Playful Darkness. I think the third is after fighting Baphomet somewhere around there, but I might be wrong. There's also something you can get if you played a lich in Inevitable Excess, but I've never bothered

>>521725025Human noble is the best because of the power of blood talents. Youre forced to play rogue. Dwarf noble is the second best, because it gives you like 35gold and also the lowest xp (you can skip pretty much every enemy). Also if you play dwarf commoner, he’s not there next to leske. Which is boring because thats like the most shocking scene in dao.
>>521733654F2 is the most nutty for sure, so many ways to whore yourself out, even as a male PC. Selling every companion into slavery and stuff too, you can get real nasty. Gothic series has some dark fantasy moments here and there. Pathfinder not that horny, but grimdark for sure.EU needs to step up in RPG making, they are less puritan then amritards, so we can get some fun stuff. Hopefully Witcher, WotR, BG3 and Disco inspires more devs

>>521737036Oh and arcanum for dat juicy racism
>>521725025Finally dwarf commoner at the top where they belong.
>>521733823It's not just about who you can fuck, it's about the writing overall. In Fallout 2 sex is literally *everywhere*, which is especially noticeable if you're playing as a female character with somewhat decent Charisma, you can't get away from it even if you refuse to ever get laid. And The Witcher 1 counts not because Geralt there can just fuck a dozen of women just by getting them drunk enough, or giving some valuable gifts, or even giving an off-hand lewd compliment, but also because the explicit sexual imagery is pervasive throughout the game world and heard coming from mouths of most NPCs, male and female. Then compare it with BioWare games: sure, you can fuck everyone and their mother in those, but for the most part dialogue is properly sanitized, and horniness allowed only in romance route (and in some very rare exceptions, or only for certain characters, like Vicky in BG2). Now, I don't know anything about BG3, because I haven't played it yet, but because it's being written by predominantly woke crowd I doubt it's particularly salacious, because people like that are usually too prudish to properly pull off that sort of writing, and sex in their games added mostly due to a) its popularity among the target audience; b) ticking some representation boxes; c) being someone's fantasy or fetish; d) plain spitefulness; so, it's just a superficial icing on top of the cake instead of being THE cake.

i fucking love gnomesFUCK halflings
>>521736434Power of blood sucks for mages. Warrior is okay but you can just flame blast oghren instead. So the idea is to get your warrior very low on hp. And bloodthirst is -10 hp/2. Aura of pain is also -10 hp/2. Which seems like it would really help keeping the maximum damage bonus going. You do miss out on precise striking if you do this, but you’ll have an extra 5% AS and also plenty of talent points for perfect striking. Furthermore, DPS war does more damage than a rogue endgame (im pretty sure). Youd probably still prefer being a human noble for a warrior though, im pretty sure combat stealing is worth the cunning investment. It’s like 5 points into cunning, and this will save you so much time. Stealing has such a long cooldown it’s kinda bullshit. One idea is to just not bring a tank or a healer, because 2 rogues will be much more damage (song of courage is a better buff than stone form). But then you can’t flirt with death. It feels so bad to invest points into cunning but there’s not really any way around that. It feels really stupid killing things in 0.3 seconds, then waiting 10 seconds with everyone on hold position and with their auto attack gambit on which doesn’t even always work and sometimes they will just start killing things. Lots of common enemies drop 25s or more, so missing out on that type of currency is huge. Thatll be like a full endgame item which is more dps than +5 str would be.

>>521721594I would actually love to have a proper remake of the first game, instead of it getting that half-hearted treatment in LE. Just do it from scratch, ME1 was actually a bad videogame per se, it was interesting mostly because of its worldbuilding (even despite heavily ripping off Babylon 5), characters (Ashley in ME1 is probably the most complex and multifaceted character ever written by BioWare; it was so distasteful how they're hollowed her out in ME3) and some memorable atmospheric sequences (like Ilos). You can redo all of that in UE4/5 with much better core gameplay, character development and exploration. This is the reason why remakes should exist, to fix flawed gems, not to regurgitate perfectly fine ones.
>>521742519Them leaving it alone and only making tweaks is the best possible choice they made with the remaster.
>>521742519Mass Effect 1 is fine. I don't see what a remake would do. Origins is more in need of a remake/remaster.

>>521742816I completely disagree. While ME1 was diamond in the rough, DA:O is probably one of the most wholesome and polished games BioWare has ever made, even if not particularly original or inspired. Sure, there's a room for some technical enhancements, but that's about it. Now, DA2 would be a good option for a proper remake, because the game wasn't completely hopeless, but it would require A LOT of work to unfuck that mess.

>>521752856>In what was once a throne room, you recline casually on a chair watching Anevia try and free herself from the webs that cover her hands and legs.>There was no logical reason to keep her alive. If anything, the swarm has spent more energy trying to catch her unharmed that it would get by devouring the poor woman. And yet...>Some vestige of your thought to be discarded humanity stayed your hand. It wouldn't be the first time you showed mercy to your former comrades - at least to those who didn't try to kill you. And Anevia did exactly that, together with a bunch of other desperate souls with nothing left to lose.>All they got was mouths full of webbing and a hefty dose of neurotoxin that left them all comatose, lined up in Drezen's prison like sacks of potatoes.>As you observe Anevia, whose clothes are ravaged to the point where they don't cover even half of what they are supposed to cover, try and wiggle her way to a discarded knife, you feel uneasy.>Hatred and rage that brought you back from the dead aren't burning as bright as they used to. Instead, apathy is setting in. Xanthir Vang was a short-sighted buffoon, and Deskari was a slave to his own nature as a demon lord, but you don't have anything to prove, nor are you motivated by wounded pride and envy.>Anevia finally manages to grab the knife, but has to discard the remnants of her shirt in process. You still don't move. In fact, you haven't moved an inch in what must be an hour, which is why Anevia has decided to try and escape in the first place.>The hunger didn't go anywhere, but it doesn't dictate your every move anymore. This change was... unexpected. Alarming. The only logical course of action would be to delve deeper into the intricacies of your form, before you change yet again and try to repent or something.>The mere thought of ASKING someone for forgiveness makes you twitch in rage, humming of myriad of wings suddenly turning into nightmarish screeching.
>>521759465sui generis soon. trust.>>521759850>only played arenayou missed out on some major dungeon crawling kino
>>521752856>Anevia instantly freezes in place, knife clutched in her hands; she's afraid, but she's also angry. She turns to you, half-naked, dirty, desperate, yet still ready to fight.>You slowly float closer to her, barely bothering to keep a humanoid shape. An idea starts forming in your mind as you gaze at her feminine curves. Experiments have to start somewhere, right? After careful consideration, you finally speak.>You were comrades in arms once. Without Anevia's help you wouldn't be able to transcend past your mortal flesh. And yet she tried to harm the Swarm. She will have to pay for that.>Towering over Anevia, you make her an offer. She dies a quick, painless death from an insect bite, and then her flesh is used to sustain the Swarm, same goes for all the captured prisoners. This is as much mercy as she's going to get from you.>...Or she agrees to carry a certain amount of eggs in her womb, and when they hatch, she will be released together with every other prisoner, unharmed.>You take grim pleasure in watching Anevia's face contort in horror and disgust. Eventually she manages to gather enough willpower to speak.>And tries to haggle. That takes you by surprise; amused by her reaction, you indulge Anevia's attempts at brokering a more favorable deal.>It takes some time, but eventually she agrees to bear your brood, twice the amount you originally planned to implant, but at the cost of all prisoners being released immediately. You don't know what made you agree to that, but suspect that the same sliver of humanity that made you spare Anevia once again has reared its ugly head.>Sometime later, Anevia lies down strapped to a modified operating table, clearly not expecting to live or stay sane for much longer. By that point captives are escorted out of Drezen by swarms of vescavors and cultists, and you are fully engrossed in preparations for the upcoming experiment. Then, finally, you begin, eager to see the outcome.

>>521752856>A few of the bigger insects dutifully rip apart what's left of Anevia's clothes, making her squirm and shake uncontrollably. At your command, a centipede-like creature slithers forth and bites Anevia's left arm>She screams, but, as venom begins to infuse her bloodstream, falls silent. In smaller doses this substance should ease the pain and numb the skin. You make a mental note to breed more of these centipedes>Out of darkness crawls yet another creature, this one looking like a cross between a vescavor and a tarantula. Anevia, half-insensate, still can't stifle a whimper of terror as this thing climbs up her body. Whimper turns to sobbing as insect gets closer to her face, but the sound dies out when a tube-like limb worms its way into Anevia's mouth and eventually throat. Squelching sound is heard as viscuous liquid is being forcefully pumped inside and Anevia reflexively swallows it>You feel a bit of satisfaction. It wasn't easy even for you to adapt certain fluids excreted by larvae into being not only safe for human consumption, but also to act as a mild hallucinogen and aphrodisiac>Anevia's thrashing stops relatively quickly, and she obediently consumes every drop of fluid offered. Her cheeks begin to turn red, her eyes glaze over and her breathing becomes ragged. Insect crawls away, its job done. Anevia is ready>Sound of chitinous legs on stone heralds the arrival of your main instrument. A wasp-like creature, almost as big as a human, gracefully positions itself on top of the operating table, its hind limbs spreading Anevia's legs with ease. A long ovipositor forms at the tip of its abdomen and pokes against Anevia's entrance>Even under the effects of several different substances, she manages to form an almost coherent sentence. She begs you to just kill her instead of... this. You, of course, ignore this noise, completely focused on what's about to happen. Failure will mean going back to the drawing board, and you would rather not do that

>>521752856>The ovipositor slides inside Anevia, the creature deftly working it's appendage in such a way that it doesn't hurt the future incubator. Anevia's pleas intensify when the first egg starts making its way into her body, but the process is successful.>You allow yourself a small triumphant chuckle. Not even drow fleshwarpers would've been able to make such extensive and incredibly precise changes to a living creature in such a short amount of time.>But this, of course, is just the first egg of many. Anevia, to your mild amazement, still tries to struggle as one more egg goes inside.>Then Anevia bites down her lip, trying stay silent as wasp continues to pump the eggs into her womb.>Her resistance starts to die out quickly enough, however; her sobs turning to groans of embarrassed pleasure.>Eventually she gives in to lust, thrusting her hips together with the rythmic movement of the ovipositor and shamelessly screaming in delight.>By the end of implantation process, Anevia is completely out of it, mindlessly caressing her distented belly, empty smile on her lips. After carrying her to what used to be your quarters, you lose all interest and go back to your laboratory.>Time passes, and eggs are safely ejected right before they actually hatch. If they did that while still inside Anevia, the results would've been messy to say the least. Also she wouldn't be able to carry the second batch, one you already tinkered with in your Insectarium made from what was used to be Drezen's chapel.>Something tells you that Anevia won't be as scared and unwilling the second time around.

>>521775835>Not much to do with communism specificallyNah, throughout the history radical left organizations prone to ideological fractures. They're as volatile as Christianity during the Reformation era.>>521776158Well, sort of, because the authoritarian strain just replaces the bourgeoisie with party nomenclature, essentially replacing one class of exploiters with another (the ""vanguard" of """proletariat"""" thing), instead of building the classless society like it claims to do; and libertarian strain is too disorganized and volatile to actually get the power before blowing into million National Fronts of Judea and Judean National Fronts.
>>521772189>spoilerNot bad at all. Assisted rape is underrated. I have a similar bit in another commission with Areelu helping the swarm rape Nocticula and Iomedae. Something something Worldwound Abyss magic.https://files.catbox.moe/dty2sz.jpgI would love to read it, anon.
>>521775554I choose not to play Disco Elysium because I'm tired of white people telling me to play the Estonian Communist Lawn Gnome game
>>521777054It's actually quite uniqueWhy complain about something you know nothing about?
>>521777240how is it unique then?
a crpg where you build up your trade union and have to fight against pinkertons, government infiltrators and even the national guard
>>521777113>the game studio ZA/UM is a "radical left organization"ok babe
>>521777303Play Dragon Commander
>>521777051An uneasy alliance between many factions on the verge of shattering and becoming an all-out war. Only a gang of misfit outcasts that are all super horny for each other can save the day. (I want to kill myself even writing this.)
>>521777587no
>>521777229>Estonian CommunistWell, in order to be a proper punk edgelord in Estonia you just *have* to be a communist and Soviet sympathizer, it's like being a Nazi in Israel.
>>521777054>>521777240it's just horribly undercooked because they never truly delve into it. There are 8 races but you can only see a few of them at one time. Then DOS2 decided to just ruin it by going>Lmao the gods are all fake (this is the third popular fantasy RPG to do this)There are a lot of things to actually pick up on and the racial tensions get brought up if they bother putting a spotlight into it>Dragon Commander has a side event where the Lizards, the British "upperclass" asks you to stop a research paper from being published because it implies that they may be related to Orcs, the niggers of the world
we're never getting lex imperalis are we bros...
>>521777223>pic Nice. When I finally get a moment, I'll polish the story somewhat and drop a link here.
>>521777332Amazing idea fellow caucasoid
>>521777847They really wrote themselves into a complete hole of shit with the whole Gods and source stuff.
>>521777847>this is the third popular fantasy RPG to do thisWhat's the third one?
I don't take disco's politics seriously because we are viewing it through the lens of a drunk retard thats trying to use political extremisim as a scapegoat for his ex leaving him. all that being said I'm an ultraliberal grinder and have a net woth of 2 million reál that will surely help me win her back, I've got the paper
new>>521778160>>521778160>>521778160
>>521777996Pillars did it and then Dragon Age did so as well. Can't really say which one did it first because even Inquisition didn't really fully confirm it. DOS2 was just the last one to the party. I guess Morrowind counts too if you squint.
>>521777847>because they never truly delve into itBecause they basically retcon or refit the entire thing for every game. Shit is completely unrecognisable from Divine Divinity to Divinity Dragon Saga, much less after that.Basically its like thisLarian has an idea They shove it into the setting and handwave the inconsistencies Game releasesLarian has an ideaEtcRivellon is just a placeholder name
>>521777906Wait until bg3 is done with their bullshit update. Probably mid May if not I'm going to fucking riot.
>>521777054I found Larian setting quite creative. I always thought of it as a satirical, comedic fantasy first. Something closer to "M.Y.T.H. Inc" or "Bill, the Galactic Hero". Divinity is quite enjoyable and creative if you ae familiar with broad fantasy fiction. Dragon Commander, Divinity 2 and now Original Sin are all very much in the same cheeky yet straight epic fantasy style. Don't really remember og game, but the twist ending to it seems to fit.
>>521773086Do DNA test, thank me later
you fags really like adultery huh
>>521778521What got retconned? Until OS2 they basically followed the>There were 8 gods>Chaos came along>All other gods had to create their own race to fight off Chaos>Chaos just gets pulled between worlds and somehow creates its own domain, creating hell>Rivellon is where the mortals live now>Chaos/Demons still trying to bring him out, basically the plot of Divine, and Divinity 2That's been consistent before Original Sin and even then OS1 only brought on something else that looks unrelated with Astarte and the Void Dragon.
>>521711126how can you like Regongar damn, he is one of the worst character personality wise among KM companion, and he has some really weird prose/dialogue, nothing he says sounds natural+he is a massive cuck. Still I do like some iconics too, I recall reading one comic centered around the fighter ending up in the afterlife and having to pass judgement+he had a cute romance going on with the Inquisitor iconic>>521710556Stjepan Seijic right? I love his comics
>>521779079NTA but I'm sure it's Stjepan. Great artstyle but arguably runs into sameface a fair bit.
>>521779079>he is a massive cuckI didn't romance him so this didn't really factor in. Had sex with Octavia once, told him I wasn't interested, moved on to Val. Reg + Octavia's entire relationship was just kind of sweet from that point on.He grows into a total bro who's ride or die, completely willing to follow you into hell for the thrill of battle and adventure. Plus, the culmination of his story being>He's excited to meet his tribe that sold him into slavery, so he can kill them>Get there and it's a single old man who remembers him and says his father sold him but he had a brother who never forgot him>Regongar tells us to leave him alone with the old man>Catches up to you>says "There's no one here worth killing."is KINO of the highest order
>>521775420Shame, what's fun then?
>>521730454need this af
>>521747327Bethany is a non-character.
>>521751192I pick an opposite gender when I replay the game if there are differences between male and female (fallout, expeditions rome), or if i want to kiss a specific dolly
