Not sure how old it is since I don't sit and F5 every 'leak' page like some of the people here but I just found out they're apparently starting to look into making another end game mode and I feel like Hoyo is getting too agressive with Genshin right now. 2 possible new endgame modes in about a year, sharp increase in overall unit strength, sharp increase in Abyss HP pools? Where did this come from all of sudden?I don't really play endgame so powercreep doesnt affect me, but it does other people, and we've seen with HSR how too much focus on catering to this group can have negative consequences long term. Genshin has always been the "less generous" but more casual and less aggressive of the big gachas, to its benefit. What does affect me more directly is what they did with the Saurians/Natlan units to try and upsell them. If Hoyo is going to make flight and advanced movement that breaks map design then atleast make uniform to everyone. Its not terrible in Natlan or anything, but how does it work in Nodkrai?

Xianyun, Kaz, venti , wanderer alongside Yelan used to be considered great for overworld traversal. The initial trio are fine but the bird and tatankasaurus are absolute trash compared to Chasca/Iansan/VaresaOn top of the qol stuff the character power creep with Mav and Citlali has gotten totally out of control. Fontaine already had a sizeable edge over Sumeru, but Natlan is taking it to another level. We’re getting to the point where furina looks like a modestly balanced characters. Furina, the char we all said was game breaking because she was bringing the floor for a lot of bad teams over the 45-50k mark and raising the ceiling of some far beyond the (at the time) caps of what, 50-60k for c0? (I’d have to go back and look). Now Mav and Citlali teams are like over 100k-120k...AND they’ve implemented combat mechanics in Natlan to massively incentivize pulling these chars. Combat event with zero energy start, night soul mechanics playing a much bigger part in combat than ousia and pneuma. This is fucking lame imo. Buff older chars at this point, it feels like shit playing your old chars with cons and seeing c0 new chars put up equal or better performances. I know it’s not a competitive game but this is beyond the eyeball test for me - it’s not like the difference is negligible enough that I won’t notice it if I just ignore timers. The actual performance gap is so large you can see it in the gameplay, it’s ridiculous

If you really want to build 2nd dendro team/unit I would advise to build Yao Yao because she is a healer and while her off field dendro app is meh for hyperbloom it's more than enough for aggravate/quicken teams. And in case you would want to try burgeon you can also use YaoYao on field while DMC flower just gets destroyed by pyro.Getting Pyro traveler is a better idea imo but it's quest locked.
