People oversell how hard it is to parse pink/orange in the first place, if you push buttons and shit doesn't go particularly wrong you will do well. Crit hard enough and you'll do very well. I got rank 2 on week 1 M5S with a damage down/missing Perfect Groove, it's still top 30 today. Early on, most kills are messy as fuck so just having your run be clean-ish means you have a huge leg up.
