Have two guys in an FRV scouting ahead and clearing out chaff, a Patriot walking alongside as escort, and then park the FRV at a vantage point at the drilling point so the HMG mount has good sight ranges and the driver can go help operate the drill and autocannon on the refinery.

So it looks like the general approach AH is going to take going forward is giving the sub-factions three unique units (give or take). The digging sub-faction is going to have Warriors, Bile Spewers, and Chargers, and possibly the Hive Lord (depending on how they're going to implement that). And in this case, since we're going to be on Gloom worlds, we might see it in conjunction with Spore Scavengers, Spore Warriors and Spore Hunters. Shit's gonna be wild.

I'm super happy that we're getting more aerial threats, but a flying dragon isn't something I would expect from bugs. I like the idea of underground areas conceptually. Means you can't just nuke shit from afar, and building for CQC is important. It's kinda like meganests and just double down on that. You can pretty reliably survive getting jumped on, and have so much health you can stim through pretty much any number of guys in melee. Extra stims are good, too, because you fukkin eat dozens, and the extra heal per stim can be leveraged really nicely.The extra armor heavy is, sadly, kinda not that good, you have WAY better raw survivability from extra stims, or leaning into a resistance than what the extra armor itself gives you. Makes you damn near immune to headshots though.

Supply pack is fantastic on heavy versus bots. In heavy anti explosive, with a supply pack, you just do not die to like, anything. Ever. Usually for swarms, yeah, you just blow yourself up, or stim through it with whatever your plan is. Some primaries or the lmg can just rip through on stims, but planning on exploding is usually the best option, with a warp/teleport to buy you a reload or weapon swap. Gas is a bit unreliable here, since, y'know, they're already in melee with you, but I like it with anti explosive and the eruptor/grenade pistol.
