What is the consensus on the Rescue Ranger? I've stuck to the stock shotgun with Engi for 20 years or however old this game is. Just tried the RR and it seems 'much' easier to hit shots with. I guess my shotgun aim is just bad, but I tend to flub those big meatshots more often than not, and continued use hasn't made me any better. The RR on the other hand seems very predictable and easy to land hits with. Being able to actually take a couple chunks out of someone at mid-long distance instead of peppering them for single digit damage feels pretty nice, and it's still dangerous close-up too. Being able to heal friendly buildings from range comes in handy too, I'm mostly interested in what people think of the combat viability. Am I just dreaming that it might be better than the shotty?
